Effect of deflector on the operation performance of the air-cooled unit of a 660 MW power plant and its optimization study
Taking the air-cooling system of 660 MW direct air-cooled unit as the research object, the air-cooled unit model was established by Fluent software, and the effect of axial fan on the heat exchange performance of the air-cooled unit bundle was studied. In order to solve the problem of uneven heat exchange of condensation tube bundles in air-cooled units caused by air cyclones and transverse winds, optimization measures for installing deflectors were proposed, the distribution of condensation in the tube bundles of air-cooled units under windless and transverse wind conditions was studied, and the uniformity of heat exchange of tube bundles before and after optimization was compared. The results show that the installation of deflectors has a good guiding effect.Under the condition of no wind, the installation of all deflectors can reduce the dividing factor of one-side tube bundle by 40.00%,and the installation of some deflectors on the windward side can increase the total condensation amount of tube bundle by 0.76%,while the dividing factor of one-side tube bundle can be reduced by 22.00%.Transverse wind will reduce the heat transfer performance of the tube bundle, which makes the heat transfer of the left and right tube bundles uneven. When the left air enters, installing all deflectors can reduce the average factor of the left tube bundle by 38.93%and the average factor of the right tube bundle by 38.24%.
