Research on the application of bim technology in the calculation of carbon emissions for green buildings
By establishing a building information model to calculate carbon emissions throughout the entire life cycle of a building, and based on Building Carbon Emission Standards and Green Building Evaluation Standards, the carbon emission calculation results are systematically assessed to determine the green building grade.Taking a middle school teaching building in Suzhou as an example, the paper discusses the practical application and calculation principles of BIM technology through a series of green building energy-saving software. The results show that the carbon emissions during the operation phase of a building account for more than 50%of the total carbon emissions throughout the life cycle, and reducing carbon emissions during the operation phase is of great significance for the green building evaluation grade. From the analysis of the calculation principles,it is concluded that the carbon emissions at each stage of the building's entire life cycle are interrelated and mutually influential. The concept of reducing carbon emissions in other stages to indirectly reduce the carbon emissions during the operation phase is proposed,in order to maximize the energy-saving potential of the building.
