Energy-saving design of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning(HVAC)is an important part of building energy conservation design. It is necessary to properly design the HVAC system of the building to ensure its energy efficiency and environmental comfort.Taking an office building as an example, this paper designs its HVAC system, including the cold and hot source, water system, air system, and control system. After comparing three schemes,it selects direct-fired units as the cold and hot source, and the refrigeration station control adopts full-frequency automatic control. In summer,it uses outdoor fresh air for cooling and utilizes CFD simulation to simulate the thermal environment of the office building. In actual operation,a building automation system is used to monitor various information data and adjust the supply and return air ratio in a timely manner to achieve energy-saving operation. It is also suggested that when ventilating by opening doors, glass doors should be opened in batches and in small quantities, and doors on the southeast side should be prioritized to prevent excessive cold air intrusion.
