Dynamic simulation and performance analysis of heat pump system for waste heat recovery in rock wool industry
The study focuses on a rock wool factory in Shaanxi.Based on the Modelica language,a simulation model of the waste heat recovery heat pump heating system for the rock wool factory is established to conduct research on the system's operational characteristics, economic analysis, and carbon emission calculations. The results show that the higher the load rate, the higher the coefficient of performance(COP)of the waste heat recovery heat pump system. The static payback period of the project is within four years.Compared with air-source heat pumps and gas boilers, the waste heat recovery system reduces carbon emissions by 37.24%and 34.25%,respectively,proving that the waste heat recovery system has significant energy-saving and emission-reduction benefits.
