Load rejection tests are crucial for examining the dynamic characteristics of the control systems of thermal power generating units,and they also serve as a measure to prevent overspeed accidents.These tests can assess the dynamic characteristics of the power unit's control system and verify the adaptability of the design of various auxiliary equipment and related systems to load rejection conditions.By analyzing the process of a load rejection test and the issues encountered during the test at a certain power plant's large-scale ultra-supercritical double extraction back pressure heating unit,corresponding measures are taken to prevent accidents for this type of unit and operational suggestions are provided to ensure continuous and stable heating supply under the premise of equipment safety after load rejection.
