Analysis and research on key factors in O/A/O process for treating coking wastewater
The"pre-aeration-anoxic-aerobic(O/A/O)"process was used to treat coking wastewater, and the key factors affecting the degradation of COD and ammonia nitrogen were studied. The results show that under the wastewater quality conditions of influent COD≤5 500 mg/L and ammonia nitrogen≤100 mg/L,by controlling the influent load of the pre-aeration tank at 1.5~1.7 COD kg/m3·d and dissolved oxygen at 0.8~2.0 mg/L,and controlling the dissolved oxygen in the aeration tank at 4.0~4.5 mg/L,the overall effluent CODcr from the biological treatment section can be less than 300 mg/L,and ammonia nitrogen can be less than 5 mg/L.The study also analyzed the issues of nitrite accumulation and total cyanide exceeding the standard in the treated coking wastewater and proposed corresponding solutions.
