Research on modified materials for the photocatalytic degradation of multiple pollutants in water
With the acceleration of industrialization and urbanization, the types of pollutants in water are increasing, which poses a threat to the ecosystem. In this paper, the modification techniques such as metal ion and nonmetal ion doping, precious metal deposition, semiconductor recombination and their effects on improving the absorption range of photocatalysts and the efficiency of photogenic carrier separation are discussed. The results show that the modification strategy can significantly improve the photocatalytic performance of the material under visible light and effectively degrade a variety of pollutants including dyes, pesticides and algae.Future research needs to focus on the removal of coexisting pollutants in actual water bodies and the development of efficient photocatalysts with stable, easy recovery and strong recycling.
