The article details how metaverse provides brand-new service scenarios for reading red resources in librar-ies,including the digital presentation of red books,immersive experiences in virtual space,interactive innovation in physical space,virtual guided tour of red tourism,online interaction of red education,and virtual display of red exhibitions.These scenarios not only enrich the dissemination mode of red resources,but also enhance the reading experience of readers.At the same time,the article also puts forward practical development suggestions for the reading of red resources in libraries under the perspective of metaverse from the three levels of resource construc-tion,technology application and service mode,with a view to pointing out the direction for the development of li-braries in the era of meta verse.
