国外学位论文数据库建设趋势及对我国的启示

文章通过文献分析和网络调查法,分析了国外学位论文数据库建设发展趋势:国外高校自建学位论文数据库迅速发展,为大型公益性和商业性学位论文数据库发展奠定了基础;而大型公益性和商业性学位论文数据库的建设发展提高了电子学位论文的利用率,反过来促使高校学位论文数据库实现开放获取,从而形成电子学位论文利用良性循环.相比之下,我国高校学位论文数据库重收藏轻利用且封闭性强,商业数据库无序发展陷入瓶颈,大型公益数据库发展缓慢.对此,我国应加快建设开放获取的高校学位论文数据库以及全国性公益学位论文数据库,同时加强学位论文著作权法制建设,提高民众电子学位论文的版权意识.
Abstract
Through literature analysis and network survey method,the article analyses the development trends of dissertation database construction abroad:the rapid development of self-built dissertation databases in foreign uni-versities has laid the foundation for the development of large-scale public welfare and commercial dissertation data-bases,while the construction and development of large-scale public welfare and commercial dissertation databases has improvel the utilization rate of electronic dissertations,which in turn prompts the college and university disser-tation databases to realize the openness and accessibility.In contrast,China's university dissertation databases fo-cus on collection but not utilisation and are closed.Commercial databases are in a bottleneck of disorderly develop-ment,and large-scale public welfare databases are developing slowly.In this regard,China should accelerate the construction of open-access university dissertation databases and national public welfare dissertation databases,and at the same time,strengthen the legal construction of dissertation copyright and raise the public's awareness of the copyright of electronic dissertations.
