Analysis of CMF Design Principles for Children's Furniture
With the liberalization of the three child policy and the improvement of living conditions,the market has be-come increasingly demanding for children's furniture,and users have increasingly attached importance to the quality and design of children's furniture.However,there are still prominent issues in the market such as inappropriate color selec-tion,unreasonable material use,and potential safety hazards in surface treatment of children's furniture.Based on the theory of color,material,and finish(CMF)design,combined with the needs arising from the existing problems in color design,material selection,and surface treatment of children's furniture,it is proposed that the overall color and shape of children's furniture should have a unified feature.In terms of material selection and detailed treatment,safety consider-ations should be taken as much as possible,and surface treatment should also have skin-friendly and bacteriostatic prop-erties in the hope of improving the safety performance of children's furniture,meeting the needs of children and users,and creating a better living environment for children.
