Advanced Teaching of Furniture Image Reading and Design Project Discussion
Furniture image reading ability is a kind of comprehensive ability that reflects the cognitive dimension and lev-el of the readers.It's also the basis for improving students'furniture design level.In order to cultivate students'ability to pose,analyze and solve problems with image as cognitive scaffold,taking the safety design of bunk beds for school dor-mitories as a case,a discussion advanced teaching of furniture image reading and design project had been implemented by means of Bloom's cognitive goal classification system and Williams teaching strategy,and thus a creative teaching model was formed.The results showed that the discussion advanced teaching project is helpful to mobilize students'learning initiative,promote their knowledge construction,cultivate their critical thinking,and improve their innovative ability.This creative teaching mode is a beneficial exploration for the teaching of furniture design courses and compre-hensive ability cultivation of students.
