Analysis on the Intellectualized Function Requirements of Elderly-friendly Foyer Furniture
Elderly home-care is the main mode of care for the aged in China.As a residential entrance and exit and the transition space between indoor and outdoor,the entrance hall carries the comprehensive life behavior.The security,com-fort and convenience of the entrance hall are directly related to the quality of the elderly-friendly residential space design.Therefore,in order to study the needs of the elderly in the entrance hall space and the intelligent design methods of the entrance hall,the intelligent design innovation solutions matching the types and levels of the elderly's needs in the differ-ent areas of entrance hall were proposed through the unstructured observation of the elderly's behavior and semi-open in-terview of the elderly under the POEMS observation framework,which can be referenced and applied directly in the de-sign of elderly-friendly foyer furniture.
