With the rapid development of modern society,the pressure of young people is also increasing.Solid wood lounge chair has become one of the considerations for leisure after work.By visiting furniture stores on the spot,the price,material,size and other information of solid wood leisure chair were investigated,and the market situation of solid wood leisure chair was preliminarily mastered.By combining online and offline questionnaires and user interview analy-sis,the overall situation,comprehensive needs,and expectations of users were grasped with an aim to understand the ba-sic situation,their actual needs for style,color,shape,functional components and user expectations of young people who use lounge chairs daily.The user interview further verified the questionnaire survey contents.Based on the survey and in-terview results,the existing problems in the design of solid wood lounge chair were pointed out.Finally,the reference suggestions for the design of solid wood lounge chair were provided in aspects of design style,material,shape,and com-fort.
