In the design of customized wardrobes based on wood-based panels,the use of decorative paper is the main way to beautify the surface effect of wood-based panels.In order to explore the user's perceptual intention of the appear-ance of customized wardrobes,four kinds of decorative color characteristics represented by wood grain,cloth grain,stone grain and pure color for surface decorated wood-based panel were summarized.A total of 12 wardrobe samples were obtained by combining the decorative texture and color.Five groups of perceptual vocabulary were extracted by se-mantic difference method,and the user perceptual intention of wardrobe samples was studied.Quantitative analysis showed that the decorative colors of wood and cloth patterns tend to be monotonous,traditional and comfortable.Stone patterns show the intention of fashion,light luxury and high-end.Pure color decorative colors are rich and suitable for various scenes.Through the user's perceptual intention performance of the decorative color of the customized surface decorated wood-based panel wardrobe,the color design direction of the wood-based panel is provided to meet the diversi-fied needs of the future customized wardrobe appearance design.
