Operation Analysis on the Spring Installation of Sofa Base Frame Based on Industrial Engineering Theory
In order to improve the efficiency of sofa production and operation, and reduce the musculoskeletal diseases that may be caused by long-term poor working posture of workers, the sofa springing operation in a furniture factory was taken as the research object, and the industrial engineering theory was used to conduct operation analysis in combination with image observation.According to the principles of operation optimization and action economy, the operation layout was optimized, and the operation intensity was reduced. At the same time, the OWAS method was used to analyze the full body working posture of workers.Video data of a worker's continuous five cycles of spring installation processing process was captured and saved at a frequency of 1.2 seconds. The effective images of the worker's head, neck, back, arms, legs, and stress were encoded to classify the operator's operational behavior according to risk levels.Improvement suggestions were proposed based on the results of full body posture statistics. The analysis results can provide a refer-ence basis for the analysis and optimization of related operations in furniture enterprises.
