Rapid Determination of Volatile Harmful Substances in Furniture
In order to improve the detection efficiency of volatile harmful substances in furniture and reduce the detection costs,a portable volatile harmful substance collector was used to collect the volatile harmful substances in furniture and its raw materials.The collected volatile harmful substances were then determined using a rapid volatile harmful substanc-es analysis tester,thus establishing a rapid analysis method for volatile harmful substances in furniture and its raw materi-als.The detection limits for formaldehyde and total volatile organic compounds(TVOC)were both 0.005 mg/m3.By us-ing this method to test commercially available furniture and raw materials,the test results data are basically consistent with the results data of the current mainstream climate chamber method.The proposed method is simple to operate,pro-vides rapid analysis,has low detection limits,and can meet the daily detection needs of volatile harmful substances in furniture and its raw materials.
