Investigation and Ergonomic Evaluation of Classroom Desks and Chairs for University
Using Nanjing Forestry University as an example,the study associates and compares the anthropometric data of university students with the functional dimensions of five sets of desks and chairs.By considering ergonomic parame-ters such as materials and forms of classroom desks and chairs,and utilizing multi-level fuzzy comprehensive evaluation theory and methods,an ergonomic evaluation index system for university classroom desks and chairs was established.This system facilitates the selection of optimal solutions for the five sets of classroom desks and chairs and proposes opti-mization recommendations.Faced with the current situation of unreasonable ergonomic dimensions of existing class-room desks and chairs for university,manufacturing departments should design and produce desks and chairs in accor-dance with the current anthropometric data of university students,while the university should also consider students'er-gonomic preferences when purchasing customized classroom desks and chairs,maximizing the assurance of students'physical and mental health development.
