Ergonomic Investigation and Analysis of Dongyang Hongmu Chair
In order to promote the high-quality development of Dongyang Hongmu industry,the ergonomic design re-search of Dongyang Hongmu seats was conducted in the paper.The current ergonomic design characteristics of Dong-yang Hongmu chair were summarized by using market research method through research on Dongyang Hongmu furni-ture enterprises and online websites.Using market research methods.A survey was conducted on more than 30 Hongmu furniture companies,totaling 651 samples of Hongmu chairs.Parameters of 35 Hongmu chairs including seat height,seat width,seat depth,backrest height,and armrest height were statistically analyzed.In terms of shape design,Hongmu chairs with"vertical backrest,S-shaped backrest with non-curved horizontal plane,high backrest,armrests,and flat seat without depressions or cushions"are the most common.In terms of dimensions,the design specifications are generally around 500 mm for seat height and seat width,430 mm for seat depth,485 mm for backrest height,and 230 mm to 250 mm for the height of armrest.Based on the research findings,the suggestions for modifications to the ergonomic design of Dongyang Hongmu chairs were proposed.
