Effect of Paper Impregnated Resin Overlaying Exposure Area on Formaldehyde Emission of Melamine Medium Density Fiberboard Furniture
With the improvement of living standards, people are paying more and more attention to indoor formaldehyde pollution.Melamine medium density fiberboard,as one of the most commonly used furniture materials, can cause form-aldehyde pollution in indoor spaces when excessively used.In order to study the effect of different release surface areas on the formaldehyde emission of melamine medium density fiberboard furniture and provide reference for its indoor use, this paper used a 1 m3 climate chamber to determine the formaldehyde emission characteristics of melamine medi-um density fiberboard and its furniture according to the GB T17657-2013 standard. The relationship between the unit area formaldehyde emission and different release areas was established through linear fitting. It was found that the form-aldehyde emissions of veneer and furniture showed a trend of initially increasing, then decreasing, and finally stabiliz-ing.The relationship between unit area formaldehyde emission and release surface area was y=0.003 6 x2-0.020 4 x+0.054 1,R2=0.928 7.The formula to some extent reflects the influence of release area on formaldehyde emission, and has certain reference value for the practical use of furniture.
