Removable Metal Frame Kitchen Cabinet System Design
With the rapid growth of economy,improvement in living standards,and enhancement of residential environ-ments,integrated kitchen cabinet furniture that combines cooking,washing,and storage is increasingly gaining attention.Compared to traditional wood based panel structures,metal frame structures are flexible and lightweight,allowing furni-ture designs to be easily installed,interconnectable,and freely combinable to enhance the adaptability of kitchen cabinet products to kitchen spaces.By using literature research to review modular design principles and conducting research analysis to summarize the current methods of joining metal aluminum frame structures and horizontal and vertical panel connections,the advantages and disadvantages of these methods in terms of appearance and structure were outlined to provide a basis for the design of metal frame modularization.Finally,a design proposal for a detachable plug-in kitchen cabinet with a metal aluminum frame as the supporting structure and wooden panels as the embedded panels was present-ed.This design allows for the replacement of damaged parts of kitchen cabinet through post-installed components,there-by extending the overall lifespan of the kitchen cabinet product.It also increases the modularity of kitchen cabinet,cater-ing to different kitchen equipment installation and user needs,and serves as a reference for the mass production custom-ization of kitchen cabinets.
