Analysis of Nordic Home Color Patterns Under the HSV Color Model
The Nordic home style is one of the significant modem interior design genres,with its crucial characteristic be-ing the strategic use and combination of colors.This study aims to delve into exemplary Nordic home cases through the Hue-Saturation-Value(HSV)color model to uncover the patterns in their color usage.By collecting 120 sets of Nordic home design cases,extracting colors using color-picking applications and Adobe Photoshop,and conducting a detailed analysis of hue,saturation,and brightness using interval evaluation and color distribution methods,the results show that the HSV color range for Nordic homes is:hue between[0°,50°]indicating warm colors;saturation between[0%,20%],denoting low saturation;and brightness between[60%,100%],signifying high brightness.From the analysis and summarization of color characteristics,the main colors of the Nordic home can be summarized as:white tones,wood tones,black-white-gray tones,and gray tones.Utilizing ColorMax software for color quantification,specific color match-ing suggestions were provided.These include:White tones=80%background color+15%main color+5%accent col-or;Wood tones=20%background color+70%main color+10%accent color;Black-white-gray tones=50%back-ground color+40%main color+10%accent color;Gray tones=25%background color+65%main color+10%ac-cent color.Through the in-depth analysis of the color rules,the corresponding color matching suggestions are put for-ward,which points out the direction for the color design of the Nordic style home space.
