The shaft is the throat of the mine,and all coal lifting,personnel,equipment,materials,gangue lifting and mine ventilation must be completed through the shaft,which has the characteristics of high investment,long construction cycle,long service life,and difficult maintenance after the mine is put into operation.Based on the characteristics of strata through shaft construction in western Chi-na,key technologies such as shaft freezing,shaft wall structure design and shaft construction technol-ogy were analyzed and summarized,and the repair work of frozen fracture shaft wall of Taran Gaole Mine of Hangjinqi Energy Company Limited of Shenhua Group was successfully implemented.The relevant results could be used as reference for similar shaft design and construction.
