In order to grasp the basic situation of soil fertility of fragrant pear orchard in Korla City and scientifically guide the fertilization and production of fragrant pear, soil fertility of 100 fragrant pear orchards in Korla City were investigated and evaluated, through applying GIS technology and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. The results showed that:the soil fertility levels of fragrant pear orchards in Korla City were general low, and were mainly distributed at the third and fourth grades, which accounting for 81.89%of the total area of investigated fragrant pear orchards. The major influencing factors of soil fertility of fragrant pear orchards were contents of organic matter, total N and alkali-hydrolyzable N, and they were all at relatively low levels, and accompanied with low-grade salinization. The evaluation results can guide the balanced fertilization of fragrant pear orchard and improve soil productivity of fragrant pear orchard in Korla.
