Research on the Influence of"She Power"Among Senior Executives on Enterprise Risk
Based on the data of China's A-share listed companies from 2003 to 2021,this paper empiri-cally analyzes the influence of female executive participation on corporate risk taking and the moderating effect of board performance behavior on their relationship.The results show that the participation of female executives can significantly reduce the level of risk-taking,while the efficiency of board meetings strengthen the influence of female executives on risk-taking.Further heterogeneity analysis shows that the inhibitory effect of female ex-ecutives on corporate risk taking only exists in enterprises with high risk taking,and only when female execu-tives have a certain say can the inhibitory effect on corporate risk taking be reflected.Based on this,it is sug-gested that enterprises should appropriately break the invisible ceiling of female executives in the way of promo-tion,flexibly use the characteristics and abilities of female executives,pay full attention to the governance effect of the board meeting in the process of enterprise development,improve the efficiency of the meeting and make it play a substantive role.
