Supply Chain Network Location and Enterprise Production Efficiency:Perspective of Social Network Analysis
Improving the resilience and security level of the industrial supply chain is crucial for China to achieve high-quality development, and the network location of the supply chain directly determines the resili-ence and security status of the supply chain, thus having important practical significance. The existing litera-ture mostly takes supplier concentration or customer concentration as the main measurement index of supply chain relationship, while the empirical research on supply chain network and its micro-economic effects are still rare.In view of it,this paper analyzes the internal mechanism that the location of supply chain network af-fects the production efficiency of enterprises, and constructs the supply chain network in the time dimension based on the information of the main suppliers and customers of listed companies, and uses the social network analysis method to calculate the point centrality and intermediary centrality as the characteristic indicators of enterprise network location. From the perspective of supply chain network, this paper empirically examines the impact of network centrality on enterprise total factor productivity. The results show that the advantage of sup-ply chain network center location can significantly promote the improvement of enterprise production efficiency.Specifically, the key channel mechanism is to promote collaborative innovation, optimize resource allocation and reduce operating costs. In addition, the differences in enterprises'collaborative motivation, strategic dis-tance,supply chain distance, cooperation tendency, information efficiency and managers'strategic insight will bring about differentiated impacts. In general, this paper clarifies the theoretical mechanism of supply chain network for the development of enterprises, and provides a reference for further maintaining the resilience,se-curity and stability of China's industrial supply chain and driving the high-quality development of enterprises.
