Research on the Influence of Big Data Governance on the Development of Digital Industry
Under the guidance of the national Digital China strategy,promoting the development of the digital industry is of great significance to the high-quality development of the economy and the construction of Chinese-style modernization.Based on the panel data of China's prefecture-level cities from 2004 to 2021,taking the national big data comprehensive pilot area as a quasi-natural experiment,the driving effect of big data governance on the development of the digital industry is tested by using the double difference method.The results show that big data governance promotes the development of the digital industry,the flow and diffusion of digital technology and information resources,and the spatial spillover effect on adjacent cities and cities with closer economic relations.The role of big data governance is more significant for the digital industry of cities in central regions and urban agglomerations.Innovation output,technical efficiency and economic agglomeration are important paths for big data governance to affect the development of the digital industry.Therefore,it is necessary to promote the mining of the industrial value of big data governance,establish and improve the coordination mechanism of big data governance,optimize the overall strategic layout of digital China,and improve the quality and efficiency of the development of the digital economy.
