Research on the Impact of Public Service Supply on Regional Differences in New Urbanization Development
Based on the relational data paradigm, this paper chooses China provincial data from 2003 to 2021,and uses the quadratic assignment procedure to explore the impact of public service supply on regional differences in new urbanization development. The results are as follows. On the full, medical care and transportation infrastructure have positive effects on the regional differences in new urbanization development, and both have greater intensity, second only to fixed asset investment.Basic education plays a negative role.In terms of period, there is heterogeneity in the impact of various factors on the regional differences in new urbanization development. On a yearly basis, the impact of transportation infrastructure on the regional differences in new urbanization development has been flat U-shaped.The negative impact of basic education has been on the rise. The impact of medical care has been M-shaped.Public service supply is an important force affecting the regional differences in new urbanization development, but not the dominant force. Therefore,in order to promote the coordinated regional development of new urbanization,it is necessary to improve the interconnection of transportation infrastructure, formulate the differentiated development strategy of basic education, and accelerate the balanced development of medical care service.Meanwhile,it is necessary to play the key role of the spatial balanced allocation of fixed asset investment and human capital in narrowing the regional differences in new urbanization development.
