The Influence of Digital Economy Industry Development on Innovation Efficiency of the Yangte River Economic Belt——Based on the Perspective of Technology Diversification and Technology Spillover
Based on the big data of enterprises'location related to the digital economy in the Yangtze River Economic Belt,this paper constructs the digital economy industry development index,and explores the influence of digital economy industry development on the city's innovation efficiency from the perspectives of technological diversification and technological spillovers.It finds that the development of digital economy industry in the Yangtze River Economic Belt can significantly improve the innovation efficiency of cities,and there are differences in terms of geographic location and government attention heterogeneity.The technological diversification effect of"digital economy industry development-related technology diversification-innovation efficiency enhancement"and the technological spillover effect of"digital economy industry development-inter-regional R&D investment and talent flow-innovation efficiency enhancement"are the important paths for the enhancement of innovation efficiency empowered by the digital economy industry.Under the digital technology distance weighting matrix,digital economy industry development has a more pronounced spatial spillover effect on the improvement of innovation efficiency.Based on this,we should continue to promote the process of developing the digital economy industry,enhance intra-regional technological diversification and inter-regional technological spillover,and coordinate the industrial layout of the digital economy to help regional innovation and development.
