Clinical Features and Risk Factors of Multiple Myeloma Complicated With Kidney Injury
Objective To study the clinical features and risk factors of multiple myeloma(MM)complicated with renal injury(RI).Method A total of 133 MM patients admitted from 2022.01 to 2023.01 were divided into RI group and NRI group according to whether they were combined with RI.Clinical and laboratory data of the two groups were compared to analyze the clinical characteristics and risk factors of MM combined with RI.Result Among 133 MM pa-tients,31 cases were combined with RI,and the RI complication rate was 23.31%,which was classified as RI group, and the remaining 102 cases without RI complication were classified as NRI group. It was found that the ISS stage in RI group was higher than that in NRI group. The levels of white blood cell count(WBC),globulin, blood urea nitrogen, blood uric acid, cystatin C,β2-microglobulin(β2-MG),serum corrected calcium and neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio(NLR)in RI group were higher than those in NRI group, with statistical significance(p<0.05).Using whether patients with MM were complicated by RI as the dependent variable, binary Logistic multivariate regression analysis showed that ISS stage,WBC,blood uric acid,β2-MG and serum corrected calcium level were independent factors of patients with MM complicated by RI.Conclusion The complication rate of RI was high in MM patients.Active control of risk factors was of great significance in reducing the complication risk of RI and improving the prognosis of patients.
