The Application of Transforming the Concept and Combining PBL in ENT Teaching
Objective To observe the value of combining the transformation concept with PBL in otolaryngolo-gy teaching.66 students who interned in the Department of Otolaryngology at our hospital from May 2020 to May 2021 were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group.The control group consisted of 33 students who received traditional PBL teaching methods,while the observation group consisted of 33 students who received a combination of con-version concepts and PBL teaching methods.The scores of the observation group students in terms of theoretical knowledge level,practical operation,and classroom satisfaction were higher than those of the control group,and the comprehensive a-bility scores of the observation group students were higher than those of the control group,with statistical significance(p<0.05).Moreover,the observation group students had relatively higher personal qualities,clinical thinking and professional development abilities in otolaryngology,and total scores.Compared with the control group,there was a significant differ-ence between the groups(p<0.05).In terms of students'teaching satisfaction,the observation group showed more ideal performance in the indicators,and compared to the control group,there was a significant difference between the groups(p<0.05).The application of the transformation concept combined with PBL teaching method in otolaryngology teaching can improve students'practical and theoretical abilities,and enhance their comprehensive abilities.
