Research Summary of Theoretical Connotation of Xi Jinping's Economic Thought
The theoretical connotation of Xi Jinping's economic thought consists of four parts.(1)Fundamental eco-nomic theory of a socialist society.This theory integrates theories of scientific socialism and Marxist political economy,and thus derives the foundational theoretical proposition of socialist political economy with Chinese characteristics.In or-der to comprehend and elucidate the essential conceptual content of Xi Jinping's economic thought,efforts should be made to accurately grasp the interrelationship between theories of scientific socialism and Marxist political economy,which include basic contradictions in socialist society and comprehensively deepening reform;the stages of socialism and the evolution of the principal contradiction facing the society;the theory of Chinese modernization;the national gover-nance system and the system of socialism with Chinese characteristics;and the centralized and unified leadership of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China over financial work.Xi Jinping dialectically integrated the relation-ship between the two,which contributes to adapting the socialist political economy to China's conditions and advancing its modernization.He further enhanced the exposition of the fundamental economic system and put forward the theory of capital in socialist conditions,representing a theoretical breakthrough and innovative development of Marxist political economy.The people-centered philosophy of development represents a historic leap in the theory of the fundamental eco-nomic laws of socialism.(2)Theory of economic construction law in China in the new era.It represents an understanding of the laws governing China's current and future economic development and presents the concept of innovative,coordi-nated,green,open,and shared development.This reflects the CPC's new knowledge of the laws governing China's eco-nomic development.It also emphasizes that the real economy underpins high-quality development.Furthermore,fostering the real economy is fundamental to implementing the people-centered philosophy of development.Taking domestic circu-lation as the mainstay and domestic and international circulations reinforcing each other is the strategic planning and prac-tical requirements for achieving high-quality development,and serves as a theoretical summary of the laws governing so-cialist economic construction.It summarizes the synchronous development law of industrialization,urbanization,agricul-tural modernization,and informatization and proposes the supply-side structural reform and the establishment of a high-level socialist market economy system.Additionally,it explores the future direction of the digital economy and produc-tive forces,along with aspects related to operation,regulation,overall development,and security of the national economy.(3)Theory of the relationship between the Chinese economy and the world economy.It includes the essence,characteris-tics,and new directions of economic globalization;the scientific interpretation of major changes unseen in a century;the theory and practice of institutional opening-up;and the concept of the"dual circulation"as a response to global chal-lenges.It signifies the adaptation of Marxist theories of the world economy to China's conditions and the modernization of these theories,offering insights into the contemporary world economy and politics,a basic understanding and practice of China's relations with the world,and values and ideology of an open world economy.(4)Philosophical foundation of Xi Jinping's economic thought,namely the worldview and methodology.It includes applying and developing historical mate-rialism while adhering to the people-centered position,and integrating the basic tenets of Marxism with China's specific realities and fine traditional culture and taking it as the core of China's theoretical innovation,This represents the innova-tive development of Marx's theory of historical materialism.It,by adhering to a materialist epistemology based on reali-ties,emphasizes continuous theoretical innovation grounded in China's realities.It also stresses efforts to follow the law governing the human-nature relationship,and puts forward the idea that lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable as-sets.In economic work,it adheres to dialectics of systematic planning and overall coordination,recognizes the good and bad sides of one thing,and understands and grasps the paradoxical movement laws,thus enriching materialist dialectics.
