Case Study on Social Enterprises'Participation in Social Governance—Taking the Successful Path of Friends of Spirit Community as an Example
Focusing on the theme of social enterprises'participation in social governance,this paper adopts the methods of survey and interview to conduct an on-site interview with Friends of Spirit Community,and discusses in detail the specific practices of its participation in social gov-ernance.There are three findings as follows.Firstly,Friends of Spirit Community's perfect busi-ness model is the source of power to participate in rural governance.Secondly,the joint partici-pation of multiple subjects is the key to accurate governance.Thirdly,starting from rural cul-ture,education,and industry is the core of realizing sustainable rural development.Based on the above analysis and combined with the current situation in China,this paper puts forward five suggestions related to the participation of social enterprises in social governance.Firstly,the government should transform the concept of governance and accelerate the construction of the governance community.Secondly,it is to provide a good business environment for social enter-prises.Thirdly,it is to strengthen the professional empowerment of colleges and universities and to promote the high-quality development of social enterprises.Fourthly,the social enterprises should pay attention to the establishment of business model.Fifthly,the social enterprises par-ticipating in the rural governance should focus on villagers'self-governance,take cultural revi-talization as the foundation,educational revitalization as the grip,and industrial revitalization as the goal,and promote the sustainable development of the countryside in an all-round way.
