How the Characteristics Towns are Formed:A Case Study
It is an important way to promote rural revitalization by forming and building charac-teristic industries and building characteristic towns with differentiated competitiveness.In real-ity,some characteristic towns forcibly create"characteristics",which has caused problems such as similar industrial positioning and serious duplicate construction.Based on the fieldwork of the jade industry in Shifosi Town,Zhenping County,Nanyang City,Henan Province,using the grounded theory in qualitative research,and conducting three-level logical coding on the basis of in-depth interviews,this paper constructs an analytical framework of"industrial personality characteristics—technological universalization transformation—industrial commonality ability".Using this framework,it is found that the formation and growth of characteristic industries should not only rely on heterogeneous technologies and resources,but also need the"universalization"transformation of these technologies and resources.The government can promote the deepening of the vertical division of labor,the broadening of the horizontal division of labor,the optimization of the intergenerational division of labor,and the integration of supporting division of labor in characteristic industries through the construction of common technology platforms.On this basis,we should take advantage of the scale of the domestic market,and shape"distinctive"industries with both individual characteristics and common capabilities,so as to provide a strong impetus for rural revitalization.
