Research on the Coordinated Development of Urbanization and Ecological Environment in Jiangsu Province
Jiangsu Province,as an important economic development engine in the eastern coastal areas of China,has always been at the forefront of urbanization in the country.However,the rapid development of the economy has also made the balance between urbanization and ecological environment increasingly prominent,which is manifested in a series of problems such as insufficient urban carrying capacity,unreasonable spatial layout,and lagging mechanism and system.Moreover,there are significant differences between the north and south regions of the province in terms of economic development level and coordinated development of ecology and urbanization.By summarizing the current situation and challenges of coordinated development between urbanization and ecological environment,and based on this,proposing countermeasures and suggestions,including scientific planning and control of urban spatial layout,accelerating infrastructure construction and sharing,reducing conflicts between urban development and ecological environment,optimizing industrial structure layout,guiding industrial upgrading and integrated development,and improving comprehensive benefits;Accelerate the reform of various mechanisms and systems,including the registered residence system,the land system,the assessment system of local government officials,and the financial system,so as to break the barriers to the coordinated development of urbanization and the ecological environment.Comprehensively implementing policies to promote the coordinated development of urbanization and ecological environment in Jiangsu Province,promote balanced and sustainable development within the region,and provide useful experience for the coordinated development of urbanization and ecological protection in other regions.
