Analysis of Factors Influencing Population Mobility in Small and Medium sized Cities in Northeast China—A Case Study in Yichun of Heilongjiang Province
As an old industrial base, the Northeast region has made significant contributions to the national economic development.Nowadays, there are problems in the Northeast region such as a single industrial structure, aging population, low natural fertility rate, and outdated infras-tructure,leading to a sharp increase in population outflow rate.In order to gain a more systematic and accurate understanding of the current situation of population loss in the Northeast region, constructive suggestions are proposed for revitalizing the old industrial base in Northeast China.Eleven indicators are selected from the perspectives of living environment, living costs, and medical and health care. The principal component analysis method is used to analyze the factors of population loss in Yichun, and three principal components are obtained. The re-sults show that in recent years, the population loss rate in Yichun has shown an intermittent upward trend.Among them, the population loss rate increased rapidly from 2015 to 2016,and although it tended to stabilize after 2017,it still showed an upward trend.Population mobility is mainly influenced by the living costs of income and housing prices,as well as the living environment of per capita park and green space area.
