Challenges and Countermeasures for Coordinating Multiple Goals of High-Quality Development
In the context of high-quality development, economic and social development encompasses numerous goals spanning various dimensions and levels, necessitating the comprehensive application of macroeconomic policies to drive the achievement of these diverse goals. However, macroeconomic regulation and control practices often confront challenges such as the difficulty in balancing policy goals, differing weights and priorities among targets, and limited policy resources.Consequently, there is an urgent need to improve institutional mechanisms to facilitate the coordinated and integrated pursuit of multiple goals. This paper proposes accelerating the establishment of a macroeconomic regulatory target system commensurate with high-quality development, rationalizing the hierarchy of targets, constructing a dynamic indicator prioritization mechanism, promptly enriching and refining macroeconomic regulatory policy tools, strengthening the synergy between policies, and thereby promoting high-quality economic and social development.
