Research on Multi-Dimensional Cigarette Market Capacity Estimation
Through market research in Qiandongnan Prefecture,this study analyzes the smoking rate,smoking volume,and purchase price of cigarette consumers from four perspectives:region,gender,urban-rural,and age,and scientifically predicts the capacity of the cigarette market from these four perspectives.The results indicate that there are differences in the estimation of market capacity from different perspectives,mainly due to errors in population size,smoking rate,and per capita smoking volume,as well as the lower proportion of female smokers.It is recommended to use market capacity estimated from a gender perspective.The research results can provide important references for industry managers to formulate development plans and marketing strategies.
