Efficiency Evaluation and Input Redundancy Comparison of Cold Chain Logistics for Agricultural Products—Research Based on Data from 30 Provinces and Cities in China from 2014 to 2021
Against the backdrop of"Development Plan of Cold Chain Logistics in the 14th Five-Year Plan",the operational efficiency and resource integration of China's cold chain logistics industry urgently need to be improved.Based on the Cobb Douglas production function, the input and output indicators are established, and the CCA,BCC and Malmquist models of DEA are used to calculate the agricultural cold chain logistics efficiency and annual changes of 30 provinces and cities(excluding Tibet)in China from 2014 to 2021,and further compare the resource input redundancy of 30 provinces and cities.Research shows that the number of regions with fully effective cold chain logistics for agricultural products is increasing, but still far less than half of the national total. The improvement of total factor productivity in various provinces and cities is mainly based on technological progress, and only 12 provinces and cities belong to zero input redundancy areas. At present, the country still needs to improve the technology research and development and scale management policies of cold chain logistics, and each province and city should implement management policies with local characteristics according to the specific situation of local cold chain logistics development.
