Study on the dispersion characteristics of offshore atmospheric pollutants near Hangzhou Bay
The sea and land breezes in Hangzhou Bay from Ningbo,Zhejiang to Jiaxing and their effects on the transport of atmospheric pollutants and pollution in Ningbo were studied by numerical simulation methods.The results show that the sea breeze and land breeze will form dispersion lines and convergence lines respectively over the central part of Hangzhou Bay sea.The dispersion effect and concentration distribution of atmospheric pollutants depend on the period when pollutants are released.The pollutants released during the land breeze period have the greatest impact on the land area within 0-20 km from the sea,and will blow back to the land again in the next morning to form secondary pollution.The pollutants released during the sea breeze period have a greater impact on the land area within 20-60 km from the sea than that within 0-20 km from the sea.Meanwhile,in most cases,the pollution concentration within the elevation of 200 meters will increase with the decrease of height.
