The optimization design of air conditioning vents in five-star hotel room based on CFD simulation
The design and selection of air outlet forms in the guest rooms of five-star hotels play a crucial role in the thermal comfort of the personnel activity area.In order to compare and analyze the differences between the traditional ordinary louver air outlet and the new strip air outlet,a numerical model of air flow in the guest room is established.Based on CFD simulation, the indoor temperature field and flow field under the two air outlet forms under the same conditions are calculated. The study optimize the summer air delivery angle of the strip air outlet. The results show that under the strip air outlet, the wind speed in the personnel activity area is about 0.2 to 0.3 m/s,and the temperature is about 21.3 to 23.6℃.The temperature standard deviation is 0.553℃.The effective draft temperature in the test range is all within the limit of-1.7 to+1.1℃,and the air diffusion performance index is 100%.The temperature field and flow field are more uniform and had higher thermal comfort under the strip air outlet compared to the traditional ordinary louver air outlet. At the same time, the optimization results show that under a 30°air delivery angle of the strip air outlet, the average temperature in the personnel activity area is 20.8℃,and the maximum flow rate is 0.4 m/s.The temperature and velocity are relatively low compared to those at 0°and 60°air delivery angles, and have higher thermal comfort.
