Energy efficiencyof Air Conditioner by Spraying Rainwater on Condenser
In hot summers and cold wintersregions, the energy consumption for summer air conditioning is relatively high, and these regions experience higher levels of rainfall. This study investigates the effect ofspraying rainwateruniformly on condenser to improve the air conditioner heat dissipation performance.A combination of theoretical calculations and experimental research was employed. The results indicate that:(1)Compared to a single-row hole design, the drip method with a double-row hole design achieves higher energy efficiency with the same flow rate.At a flow rate of 19.17 ml/s,when the outdoor dry bulb temperature is 35℃ and the relative humidity is 65%,the energy-saving rate of the double-row hole spray can reach above 15%;(2)Under the same drip method, increasing the flow rate leads to higher energy savings;(3)The lower the relative humidity of the outdoor air,the more significant the energy-saving effect. The COP(Coefficient of Performance)of the air conditioning system can be improved by nearly 10%by utilizing rainwater.
