Analysis on Traditional Furniture and Multi-Culture of Prairie Nomadic Peoples in North China
The traditional furniture creation in the northern grassland is rooted in the unique nomadic cultural soil and has strong regional characteristics,reflecting the unique folk culture,aesthetic preference,and belief concept of the nomadic people.It also has research value because it shows the evolution of multi-cultural integration.It traces its historical origin and combs its evolution through objects,images,and documents.From the perspective of the architectural space and cultural field,the paper interprets the creative characteristics of the furniture used in the felt cottage field,the government office field,and the temple field in terms of functional properties,technological structure,and decorative skills.Combined with the natural geographical environment of the northern grassland and the changes in human society,the paper analyzes and discusses the multi-cultural interaction and coexistence in traditional furniture creation.It can also prove that the traditional furniture of nomadic people in the northern steppe is not only the influence of nomadic culture itself but also the result of cross-regional multicultural integration and cross-cultural multi-belief coexistence in the region.
