Various types of spaces in rural China,which have been produced in various stages of development,all bear the risk of being gradually idle due to the gradual functional decline.Under the background of a rural revitalization strategy,it is particularly urgent to reshape rural idle space and give it new functions and values.Event intervention has a strong focus on permeability.Through consensus events,publicity events,and large-scale festivals,it can stimulate rural endogenous power,promote urban and rural value recognition,promote rural industrial upgrading,and clarify the functional relationship of each utility event classification to empower idle space.On this basis,the paper summarizes and establishes the cultural empowerment model,the resource empowerment model,and the industrial empowerment model so as to adapt to the development types and stages of different villages.Thus,to choose the appropriate events to intervene,build a soft environment of rural civilization,establish effective new methods of rural governance,and create a new format of rural development.
