Research on the Design of Advanced Mother-infant Tabletop Sterilizer Based on Kano-DEMATEL Method
To clarify the complex requirements of users of advanced mother-infant tabletop sterilizers,to explore the influence relationships among the requirements,to construct a visualized iterative model of requirements,to improve user satisfaction and product competitiveness, and to form a feasible design plan for advanced mother-infant tabletop sterilizers.Firstly,we collected and summarized users'requirements for the product;then we used the Kano model to categorize the requirements and calculate their importance to make the initial ranking;we combined the DEMATEL method and expert decision to calculate the comprehensive influence matrix among the requirements and calculated the coordinates of the requirements in the INRM diagram;finally,we converted the optimal key requirements into a feasible design solution and realized the design through empirical evaluation.Thoroughness of disinfection, excellent dish rack material, and touch screen display mode in the core requirements should be prioritized in the development of advanced mother-infant tabletop sterilizers, followed by panel texture and space capacity in the driving requirements, and remote-control requirements should not be ignored.Integrating the Kano model with the DEMATEL method can provide insight into the complex relationships among user requirements in the design of home appliances and provide strategic support for corporate product development.
