Integration of Female Script Culture in Wooden Furniture Design
Expanding the avenues for the inheritance and dissemination of traditional culture is crucial for achieving cultural self-confidence.Female Script,as the world's only existing women's writing system to date,stands as a unique cultural gem within the Chinese nation,possessing significant cultural and artistic value.Here,we utilize wooden furniture design as a carrier,analyzing the potential correlation between the cultural resources of Female Script and wooden furniture and proposing a design strategy model by employing the framework of product design semiotics and rhetorical theory.Commencing with the symbolic extraction,semantic interpretation,and pragmatic application of Female Script symbols,we explore furniture styling,product expression,and design reflection in wooden furniture design practices.Furthermore,it aims to promote the organic integration of female script culture and wooden furniture,providing valuable references for advancing the coordinated development of traditional culture and regional socio-economic growth.
