Urban public furniture is not only the product that facilitates the convenient life of the city but also the important media that carries the city culture and the city image.Taking the entrance and exit of Harbin subway station as the research object,this paper adopts the methods of eye tracking technology,semantic difference method,questionnaire survey,and data statistics to conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis and research on the aesthetic image of Harbin urban public furniture modeling.The research data of the interest area of 6 Harbin subway station entrance and exit samples show that the core areas of the subway station entrance and exit modeling are station signs,arch shapes,columns,and other parts,and the types of subway station entrance and exit have little influence on the viewing time of the interest area.Harbin City public furniture will give people a strong"heavy"and"classical"feeling.The quantitative research on the modeling and aesthetic cognition of Harbin urban public furniture will transform fuzzy consciousness and subjective evaluation into an accurate objective expression of data and provide a scientific reference for the design innovation of public furniture modeling with urban cultural characteristics.
