The Digital Transformation of Grand Canel Cultural Gene in Immersive Experience Spaces
The Tongzhou section of the Grand Canal,a crucial economic artery for the capital's grain supply,has also accumulated valuable cultural resources in the Beijing area that are urgently in need of discovery,development,and inheritance.This article,based on the practical project of the cultural heritage pervasive game in the Beijing(Tongzhou)Grand Canal tourism scenic area,constructs a genealogy of the Grand Canal's culture and outlines application principles for different types of cultural genes.Finally,from the perspectives of sensory immersion experience,visual spectacle experience,embodied participation experience,and narrative contextual experience,this study discusses how digital technological means shape the immersive experience space of the Tongzhou Grand Canal tourism scenic area,accomplishing the intelligent digital transformation of the Grand Canal's cultural genes.In the era of integrated digital and intelligent technologies,this research aims to provide innovative perspectives and feasible strategies for the digital transformation of the cultural and tourism industries,as well as the protection and inheritance of cultural heritage.
