Study of the Intention and Design of Second-hand Items for Smart Trading Platforms
The paper aims to explore the influencing factors and the willingness to use second-hand items for smart trading platforms.Based on the UTAUT model, the study adopts the questionnaire method and conducts partial least squares structural equation(PLS-SEM)analysis using SmartPLS4.0.The results show that the expectations of effort and performance have a significant positive effect on willingness to use, while logistics services significantly promote participation frequency. The matching of supply and demand and logistics services has a significant positive impact on the expectations of effort and performance and influences the willingness to use through a mediating effect.Perceived risk has a significant promoting effect on offline participation willingness and a significant inhibitory effect on participation frequency. This paper provides insights on the design and improvement of second-hand items for smart trading platforms, such as an efficient matching mechanism for supply and demand relationships, standardization of information label design, visualization of positive impact factors, risk visualization, combination of online and offline, stakeholder connection, etc.
