Research on Design Strategies for Community Renewal from the Perspective of Spatial Justice
As urban construction in China transitions to a phase focused on enhancing existing infrastructure, the equitable distribution of spatial resources in community renewal is increasingly emphasized. This study analyzes the current state of spatial justice theory research using CiteSpace software and employs the PSPL method to investigate the current conditions of communities and the needs of their residents. It examines spatial issues and phenomena of'injustice'within communities and analyzes domestic cases of'spatial justice'in public space renewal, summarizing design concepts and strategies.Building on this research, the study explores four strategies for justice in design:functional, caring, environmental coordination, and procedural governance. It discusses ways to balance the primary needs of the community,to improve both the material and psychological environments, and to enhance the quality of life for residents. This provides valuable insights for community renewal projects.
