Research on the Structure of Museum Experience Elements and Optimization Strategy Based on Network Texts——Taking Hunan Museum as an Example
This paper aims to explore the structural model of museum visitor experience elements, their perceived characteristics, and propose corresponding optimization strategies.Based upon the museum visitors'experience model proposed by John Falk, this paper takes Hunan Museum as an example,Ctrip.com travel reviews as the text source. With the help of ROST CM6 text analysis software and the use of the content analysis method,a structural model of experience consisting of experience evaluation, visiting motivation, visiting behaviors, museum environment, museum exhibits, museum display, other groups, and interactive behaviors is constructed. The characteristics of experience perception are also explored. In addition, taking into account the current situation of Hunan Museum, the following experience optimization strategies are proposed:strengthen element integration to enhance the spatial narrative experience;enhance media integration to create a spatial immersion experience;focus on interaction design to stimulate the audience's engagement;and improve service management to optimize the audience's experience during the whole process.
